D.C. Bucket List

As I mentioned here, some things are possibly changing for us. There has been a fair amount of uncertainty for us this past year, a few tentative steps forward, but we’re not quite at the point where we need to take the plunge into turning our world around. In this calm before the storm, we have often talked about moving away from our city. There are a number of factors at play, and we still have not made a final decision, but I thought it best to make a Bucket List in case we end up packing our bags on a whim (much like we did when we moved out here). Since making the list, we are already leaning more toward staying, but I decided to stick with my list and make the most of whatever time I have left in D.C.

This is not a comprehensive list of touristy things to do in and around our Nation’s Capitol. This is just a list of things I have heard about or wanted to do and somehow have not gotten around to. I have already crossed a few off the list since I made it last month, but I’ll try to chronicle my journeys here and let you know what I would recommend. For his part, Layne made a D.C. Restaurant Bucket List, so I may chronicle some of that, too.

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the sweet comments! Just an FYI, I went to respond to your comment and realized you're a "no-reply blogger" ...I used to be too until someone was kind enough to clue me in. It's an easy fix if you google it, and it will let people respond to you. I hope you have a happy 4th! :)

  2. I love your bucket list! It's so funny because Justin and I just sat down and made our own list of must do items before we leave Arizona next fall for Grad school for J. I may need to copy your idea of blogging our list to help hold us more accountable. I can't wait to see you start crossing things off your list :)
